Woohoo for poo!

Thanks for the prayers everyone we seem to be seeing some improvement (finally)!

Faith has been on feeds for the last day and a half, she is up to 3ml a feed today and it seems to be working. They are still getting some mucus up the tube but not as much and not bile which is good. They fed her 6ml over the day yesterday and only had 3ml come up the tube... which is great considering she was throwing 5 ml of bile every 4 hours when they WEREN'T putting anything down :)

Dr. Slaughter was practically bouncing around Faith's cot yesterday since she was doing better. Then he opened her nappy to look at her tummy and found a poo so got even more excited. He is hoping that the tummy will continue to improve as the bowel starts to work a bit better now that we're putting stuff through, so that would be great! Apparently the dye often acts as a laxative so it must have gotten everything flowing again and hopefully it will keep going :)

Also, I get to have another cuddle today, so that's exciting! Wahoo, bring on 7 o'clock!
